Our unit is C3 over in the CIE Balanagar area. It’s an old industrial spot, and you can tell by the look of the buildings around here. We’ve been operating out of this same shed for quite some time. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, and there’s always a bit of oil somewhere that needs wiping up. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby; usually, if someone comes by, they just walk straight into the work area and find one of us. It’s a noisy environment with the machines running, but we’re used to shouting over the din to talk to each other. We take care of the manufacturing ourselves, keeping an eye on every piece that comes off the line. Balanagar has changed a lot, with new businesses moving in, but we just keep doing things the way we always have. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to wait around, which is just part of the frustration of running a shop here. We don't spend time on fancy brochures or websites. Most of our customers are other local businesses who have known us for years. We just try to be fair and get the jobs finished when we said we would. It is a simple life of making things and managing the daily grind in this corner of the city. We keep the machines oiled and the coffee hot.
