Our office for Rock Sand Minerals Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot No. 32, right in Flat No. 203 of the Vijaya Enclave. Srinagar Colony is a decent place to work from, even if it feels a bit like a residential building sometimes. We deal with minerals and sand stuff which sounds a bit messy but we keep the files mostly in this small flat. There are a few of us here. One room is full of samples and the other has the computers. It can get a bit tight when we have visitors. You have to take the stairs or the small lift up to the second floor. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to site managers and transport guys. The colony itself is usually quiet except for the occasional car horn or the street vendors. We’ve been at this for some time now. Some days are just filled with checking numbers and making sure the trucks reached where they were supposed to. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. Just a nameplate by the door. It’s a simple setup for the kind of work we do. We usually wrap up by evening unless there is a late shipment to track. It’s not the most exciting work but it keeps us busy and we know the mineral trade well enough. Sometimes we grab lunch from the place around the corner. It works for us.
