Laxmi Minerals

Laxmi Minerals is based at Survey No. 6 in Mumbapur. We are tucked away in the Gummadidala area of Jinnaram Mandal. If you are looking for us in the Medak district, you just follow the main road until you hit the industrial patches. We work with various minerals. It’s a dusty job, and everyone here usually ends up with gray boots by the end of the shift. We have a few crushers and sifters that run most of the day. The noise is something you just get used to after a week. We don't have a fancy reception area. Usually, you just walk into the main yard and find someone near the weighbridge. The trucks come in empty and leave heavy. We try to keep the piles organized, but when it rains, it gets a bit muddy around the site. We’ve been here for several years now. Most of the guys working the machines are from the nearby villages. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the minerals processed and out to the buyers without too much fuss. It's a lot of physical labor and keeping the equipment greased up. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit under the neem tree until it comes back on. That’s just life in Mumbapur for us. We just keep moving forward one day at a time. The trucks make a lot of dust on the road.
