R.K Communications Cool Drinks & Xerox

Running this place near Medwin Hospital in Abids means there is always someone coming in. Most people are either looking for a cold drink because the Hyderabad sun is so hot, or they need some papers copied quickly. The Xerox machine is quite old and makes a loud thumping noise, but it still works most of the time unless the paper gets stuck. I spend a lot of time opening the side panel to pull out crumpled sheets. It is a bit cramped inside with the fridge humming in the corner and the stacks of paper everywhere. Being in Abids, the noise from the traffic never really stops. We sell different kinds of sodas and some juices. Many people who come in are visiting the hospital and look a bit tired, so they just sit for a minute while their copies are being made. I also handle some mobile recharges and small communication tasks. It is not a quiet job. Sometimes I forget to eat my lunch because three people want copies at the same time and the fridge needs restocking. My hands are usually stained with a bit of black ink from the toner. The floor gets dirty pretty fast with so many people walking in from the street, so I sweep it whenever I get a spare five minutes. It is just how things go here every day.
