Opposite the AP Tourism Depot in Raniguru, that’s where you’ll find Iron Depot. The address is 44321, and it’s a pretty busy stretch of road. We deal with iron, so as you can imagine, it’s a noisy and heavy environment. There’s no air conditioning in the main yard, so we’re at the mercy of the weather. When it’s hot in Raniguru, it’s really hot. The sound of metal hitting metal is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We don’t have a polished showroom. It’s mostly just piles of iron and a small cabin where we handle the bills. The trucks come and go all day, and there’s always someone shouting directions to the crane operators. It’s a gritty job, and we usually go home covered in a bit of rust and dust. We’ve been across from the tourism depot for a long time now. People use it as a landmark to find us because our sign isn't the biggest. We don't bother with much talk; we just load the iron and move on to the next task. It’s practical work for practical people. The yard is big enough for what we need, and the location works out well for the transport. It’s just a regular iron yard doing what it’s supposed to do. Some days are long, but we just get the metal moving and keep things simple. We don't need fancy offices to get the job finished.
