Raj Men

We are located at 3-5-213 on Vittal Wadi Road. It is quite close to Narayana College, so we see a lot of students walking past our doors all day long. Some of them come in for a quick trim when they have a break between their classes. The road is usually quite dusty and there is always some construction or something going on nearby. We have been here in the Vittal Wadi-Narayanguda area for a good bit of time now. It is just a simple shop, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our chairs and the basic tools we need. We start early in the morning, usually before the sun gets too hot. Hyderabad summers are no joke, so we appreciate the shade we get here in the shop. People know us as Raj Men. We don't really do much advertising at all. People just find us or they have been coming here for many years. It is nice seeing the same people grow up, from being little kids to now having their own jobs. Sometimes the college boys talk about their exams or their future while they sit in the chair. We just listen and do the cutting. By the time evening rolls around, we are usually pretty tired and ready to close up for the night. It is a decent way to make a living in this part of the city. We hope to stay here for a long time.
