Raj Kumar Kirana & General Store

Our little shop, Raj Kumar Kirana & General Store, is tucked away in the Ram Bagh area of Attapur. If you know where Sri Niketan School is, we are just a short walk from there. We are also right behind the Sri Ganesh Agency, which makes it easier for people to find us if they’re new to the neighborhood. Hyderabad is a big city, but here in this corner, it feels a bit more local. We spend most of our time stocking up on the usual things like pulses, soaps, and snacks that the school kids like. When the school bell rings, the shop gets really crowded for a bit. It’s noisy but we like the energy. The rest of the day is quieter, just the neighbors coming in for their daily milk or eggs. We don’t do anything fancy with the displays. Things are mostly stacked where they fit best. Sometimes the shelves get a bit dusty from the road, so we’re always wiping things down and moving boxes around. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out. We’ve known most of our customers for years, so we know who likes what brands. Dealing with the distributors is the hardest part, making sure they actually bring what we ordered on time. Otherwise, it’s just about being here every day. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical store where you can see what you’re getting.
