R S Motor Driving School on Kachiguda Railway Station Road. If you know Hyderabad traffic you know it’s a bit of a mess sometimes especially near the station and Ramakrishna Hospital. We’ve been teaching people how to drive around here for a while. The office is right beside the Ic... well, it's easy to find if you're looking. We spend most of our day in the cars with students who are usually pretty nervous when they first sit in the driver's seat. We start them off slow and try to keep them calm when a bus honks or a bike zips past. It’s not an easy job because you have to stay alert every second. Our cars aren't brand new luxury models but they work well for learning and have the extra pedals. Barkatpura can get really crowded so it's actually a good place to learn because if you can drive here you can probably drive anywhere in the city. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People just come in, sign up, and we get started on the lessons. Sometimes we're running late because of the traffic but we try our best to stay on schedule. It’s a basic business. We just want to make sure people know how to use the clutch and brakes properly before they get their license. It takes patience but we have plenty of that to go around.
