Qwality Mart

Qwality Mart sits at 16-9-438/B/1 in Old Malakpet, which is a part of town that always feels like it is moving. We have been running this mart for a bit now, and the daily routine stays pretty much the same. We start the day by checking what we ran out of the night before and making lists for the suppliers. The shop floor is filled with aisles of groceries, from bags of rice to small packets of biscuits and everything in between. It is not a massive place, but we try to use every inch of space we have on the walls and the floor. People from the nearby houses in Old Malakpet come in all through the day, some just for a single bottle of milk and others filling up a whole basket for the week. We do not use any complicated systems or have a lot of staff in uniforms. It is just us here, making sure the shelves do not stay empty for too long. Sometimes the bins for the vegetables get a little messy during the rush hours, but we tidy them up when things settle down. The neighborhood is full of families, so we hear a lot of stories at the billing counter. It feels good to be a place where people can just grab their essentials and get on with their day. We just keep the doors open and do the work that needs doing.
