Q Mart

Q Mart is situated on the 5th floor of a building on Road No 3 in Banjara Hills. Being up on the fifth floor means we have a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy to look out the window much. It’s a different vibe from the shops on the ground floor. We have to make sure our customers know how to find the lift and get up to see us. The space is used for a variety of things, mostly focusing on retail items that are a bit harder to find in regular neighborhood shops. We spend a lot of time organizing the shelves and making sure everything is priced correctly. Banjara Hills is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside on the streets. We aren't a massive department store, just a focused spot with a specific selection of goods. It can be a challenge getting larger shipments up to the fifth floor when the lift is busy, but we have a system that works most of the time. The staff here is small, and we all pitch in with everything from cleaning the floors to helping customers. We don't go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. We just try to keep the place tidy and make sure we have the items people are looking for when they make the trip up here. It’s a steady business and we like the people we meet every day.
