Purushotham Stores

We are located at 2-478-41 in Kalyan Nagar. Purushotham Stores is really just a small family operation that we’ve worked hard to keep going. We sell daily household items and some dry goods. The shelves are mostly made of old wood, and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it’s comfortable. My wife and I take turns behind the counter throughout the day. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than making sure the shelves aren't empty when a neighbor comes looking for something. Kalyan Nagar is a nice area, and we’ve made a lot of friends just by standing behind this counter. Sometimes the delivery guys are late and we have to apologize to our regulars. We don't have a website or anything, we just rely on people walking by. The floor creaks a little near the back where we keep the heavier stuff. We try to keep the place tidy, but with kids running in and out, there's usually a bit of mess. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We aren't looking to expand or move to a bigger building. This spot is just right for us and what we do. We just want to keep serving the local community as long as they’ll have us. It’s a basic shop for basic needs, and that’s how we like to keep it.
