Prasad Fabrication

We spend most of our days here at Prasad Fabrication on Malkajgiri Main Road. The shop is located at 8-71 and it gets pretty busy around here since it is right on the main stretch of Malkajgiri in Secunderabad. Most mornings start with moving heavy metal sheets around and getting the welding machines ready. It is a bit loud and dusty, but that is just how things go when you are working with iron and steel all day long. We have been in this spot for a while now. You can usually see us from the road because there is usually some gate or window frame being worked on right out front. The traffic outside never really stops, so we just get used to the noise of the bikes and buses passing by while we do our cutting and grinding. Sometimes the heat from the torch makes things a bit uncomfortable, especially during the afternoons, but we just keep at it. There are usually offcuts of metal scattered near the corners and the smell of burnt metal is always in the air. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. If you are walking down the road near house number 8-71, you will probably see us there. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork because the real work happens with the tools in our hands. That is pretty much our life here. We just focus on finishing the gates and grills for the local houses and making sure the welds are solid before we close up for the night.
