If you know the Mahankali Temple Road, you know exactly where we are. We are at 4-4-77, right in the thick of things in Old Bhoiguda. This part of Ranigunj is always loud and moving. There are trucks everywhere and the sound of metal hitting metal is just something we are used to by now. Our place isn't anything special to look at, just a solid building where we store and move steel. Old Gudi is a neighborhood with a lot of history, and you can feel that when you walk around the streets here. We have been working out of this spot for a while. The floor is concrete and scarred from years of dragging heavy loads across it. We don't spend much on decorations because that isn't what our customers care about. They just want to know if we have the right size steel in the yard. We deal with a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets to be quite a bit, but we just keep going. The temple nearby brings in a lot of foot traffic, so there is always something to see out the front door. We keep the ledger on the main desk and try to stay organized, even when three trucks show up at the same time. It’s a busy life here in Ranigunj, and we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if it was quiet.
