Prakash Provision Centre

Prakash Provision Centre is tucked away in Bhel Enclave on Akbar Road in Bowenpally. We have two small units, Shop No. 1 and 2, at Plot No.25. It’s a quiet area mostly. We sell all kinds of provisions that families need for their daily cooking and cleaning. Hyderabad can be quite a busy city, but our corner here is a bit more relaxed. We’ve been running this place for a long time now. It’s not a supermarket; it’s just a local provision store. We don't have uniform-wearing staff or bright neon signs. It’s just us and maybe a helper. We spend our time weighing out sugar or packing up dal for the customers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use flashlights to find things in the back. It’s not perfect, but we manage. We know the people who live in the enclave and they trust us to have the basics. We don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. We just focus on keeping the shelves full of the right brands that people like. It's a simple business, really. We open the shutters in the morning and close them at night. That’s been our routine for years and it works for us. We don't need a lot of space to provide what the neighbors need.
