Pragna Hospitals

Our spot is 6-3-347/22/B/1 in Dwarakapuri Colony. It’s a central part of Panjagutta, so there’s always something happening right outside. We call it Pragna Hospitals, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. The street can get a bit narrow when everyone parks their scooters, but that’s just how it is in this part of the city. Inside, the walls are a basic color and we have the usual hospital smell, mostly cleaning supplies and medicine. It’s a practical space. We don’t have those big leather couches or art on the walls. It’s about the work. People from the colony know us well. They come in for all sorts of reasons, sometimes just to ask a quick question. We keep the files in order and try to stay on top of the schedule, though things can get backed up when it’s a busy Monday. The fans hum overhead most of the day. It gets warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows shut to stay cool. Working here at Pragna Hospitals means you get to know the regulars. We see the same faces walking their dogs or heading to the store. It feels like a real part of the community here in Dwarakapuri Colony. We just focus on being there for whoever needs us, without making a big fuss about it. It’s hard work, but it’s our daily routine and we’re used to it.
