Pragathi Junior College

Narsapur Xroad is a pretty busy area, and that’s where you’ll find Pragathi Junior College. It’s right there in Narsapur, Medak, and the traffic outside is almost always moving. We have students coming in from all the nearby villages and the town itself. Being a junior college, things stay quite focused on the intermediate syllabus. The building has a few floors, and the stairs are usually crowded when classes change. You see teenagers carrying those heavy bags and folders everywhere. Most of the classrooms have simple benches and big windows, though the dust from the road comes in sometimes. The staff here are mostly local people who understand the struggle of the students. Lunchtime is when it gets really chaotic because everyone is trying to get a snack or just hang out for a bit before the next lecture starts. We have these old notice boards that are always covered in papers about exams or holidays. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s real. People here are just trying to get through their two years of college and do okay. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the doors wider to let in light. It’s just how things are in this part of Medak. The days are long, but the students keep the place feeling alive. It’s a landmark for most people catching a bus at the crossroads.
