Pradip Motor Driving School

Running a driving school in Alwal is definitely an experience. Pradip Motor Driving School is located near the Laxmi Kala Mandir Theatre, so it’s easy for people in Hyderabad to find us. We spend our days in the car, mostly. It is a lot of patience, honestly. Teaching someone who has never touched a steering wheel before can be nerve-wracking, but we’ve done it so many times now it’s just part of the routine. The traffic around here near Shop No. 15-4 can get a bit much during peak hours, but that is actually good practice for the learners. If you can drive here, you can drive anywhere. We just focus on the basics, like how to use the clutch without stalling every five minutes. It’s a small operation. We keep the cars maintained and try to make sure everyone feels okay before they go for their test. Sometimes the students are really nervous, so we just talk them through it until they relax. We aren't a big corporate chain with a fleet of hundreds of cars. It's just us helping neighbors get their licenses so they can get to work or run errands. It’s honest work and we like being part of the Alwal community. We just take it one student at a time and try to stay calm. Most people get the hang of it after a few tries on the main road.
