Popular General Stores

You can find Popular General Stores over at 9-7-27 in Kasba Bazar. We are pretty close to the Railway Station Road, so it gets very noisy and busy around here. There’s always the sound of trains or people rushing to catch one. We sell all sorts of things, from snacks to small household tools and umbrellas. It is the kind of place where you stop because you realized you forgot something on your way home. We have stuff hanging from the ceiling and piled up on the counters. It is a bit messy sometimes, but we know exactly where the batteries or the tea leaves are kept. Kasba Bazar is a hectic place to work, but we like the energy. Being near the station means we meet a lot of travelers too, not just the locals who live nearby. We open up early and stay open until the last few trains have passed. The fan in the corner makes a bit of noise, but it helps with the heat. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us taking turns behind the counter. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun but people still find us. It has been our spot for a long time. We just keep going, day after day, making sure the shelves are not empty for too long. It is just a normal store.
