Police Hospital

The District Police Hospital is located in Amberpet. It is primarily here to take care of the officers and their families who live and work in this district. The building is an older one, made of heavy stone and brick, typical of government structures in this area. It has high ceilings and long corridors that stay relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. There is a big iron gate at the entrance and usually some staff standing around the courtyard. Inside, it feels very official. There are wooden benches that have been polished by years of use. We have different wards for different needs, all clearly marked with painted signs on the walls. The atmosphere is usually quite disciplined, as you might expect given where we are. Doctors and nurses move about with a sense of purpose. We have a small garden area in the middle where people can sit for a moment of quiet. The hospital keeps a strict schedule for everything from morning rounds to cleaning the floors. It isn't a place with modern glass walls or fancy art, but it is solid and reliable. Everyone here knows each other, so there is a bit of a community feeling among the staff and the patients who come from the force. That's just the way it works here.
