Pmo

Our workplace is right in the Green Gold Apartments, specifically P1 in the B2-Block. It’s near the Sai Baba Temple in Malkajgiri, so we hear the temple sounds throughout the day. Working out of an apartment building is different than a standard office block. It feels a bit more like home, which has its pros and cons. We are the Pmo office, so we spend our time tracking projects and making sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing. It involves a lot of spreadsheets and phone calls. The space is a bit tight because we have a lot of files and equipment squeezed into the rooms. We often see the neighbors in the hallway when we are coming and going. Malkajgiri is a busy residential area, so there is always something happening outside. We don't have a big fancy lobby for visitors. Usually, people just come up to the apartment and we sit around the main table. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. Sometimes we get distracted by the smells of cooking from the other flats, but we try to stay focused. We have a small kitchen where we make tea several times a day. It isn't a high-pressure corporate environment, but we get the work done. We are just a local team trying to keep our projects organized in this little corner of Hyderabad, doing our best every day.
