Planman Media

Planman Media is over in Mehdipatnam, at Flat No. 410 in the D.V. Apartment building. It’s in Salarjung Colony, near Nanalnagar. Hyderabad is a busy city, and Mehdipatnam is always moving. Our office is just a flat on the fourth floor. It’s not very big, and we’ve had to get creative with how we fit all the desks and chairs in. There’s a small balcony where we keep some dead plants because we always forget to water them. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, someone just shouts "come in" when there’s a knock at the door. The kitchen is mostly used for storing old newspapers and making coffee. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and talking over each other. The apartment building is a bit old, so the elevator makes some strange noises sometimes. We prefer to take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. There’s a lot of traffic noise from the main road, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a dress code or fancy meetings. Most days we just show up in whatever is comfortable and get to work. It’s a simple life here in Salarjung Colony. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get things out on time. There is no point in pretending we are something we aren't, so we just stick to being a small office in an old apartment.
