Our office is in the G.S Estate building, specifically on the second floor of the Nijam Shahi Building. We are right by Mozamjahi Market in Hyderabad, which is a very historic part of town. The best part about working here is being right beside Karachi Bakery. The smell of the fruit biscuits sometimes wafts up to the office, and it’s hard not to go down and buy a snack. P.Janardhan Reddy handles the sales tax and income tax work here. It’s a busy place, especially when tax season rolls around. The building is an old one, with those high ceilings and thick walls that you find in Hyderabad’s older districts. It’s not a modern glass tower, and we like it that way. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and endless stacks of paper. We have been here for a long time, so we know all the other shopkeepers and office workers in the building. It’s a community. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we’ve been around. We don't use much fancy technology other than what’s necessary for the filing. It’s a lot of manual checking and making sure numbers match up. We talk to our clients like neighbors because that’s often what they are. It’s a bit of a maze getting to the second floor, but once you’re here, it’s just a normal, hardworking office.
