Pissa Foundation

Pissa Foundation is located at 2-2-1132/4/A on Shivam Road. We are right there in the New Nallakunta area, which is a place many of us have called home for years. We decided to start this foundation because we saw things in our neighborhood that needed fixing. It wasn’t a big, calculated move. It was more about a few friends sitting together and deciding to do something rather than just talking about it. Our space on Shivam Road is modest. It’s where we store whatever supplies we have and where we meet to plan our next steps. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our support comes from people just walking by or neighbors who know what we’re about. We might be helping out a local school one day or cleaning up a patch of ground the next. It’s varied and keeps us on our toes. The traffic on Shivam Road can be pretty loud, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. We aren't professionals in the corporate sense; we're just people who care about New Nallakunta. Sometimes we make mistakes or things don’t go exactly as planned, but we learn and keep moving. We don't use big words to describe ourselves. We are just a group of residents who want to be useful to the people living around us. That’s the long and short of it for us. We just keep working away at our own slow pace.
