Padmavathi Fabrications

Padmavathi Fabrications is way out in Cherlapally, at Plot No 1098 in the B N Reddy Nagar Colony, Phase II. Cherlapally is a busy industrial area and it takes a bit of time to get here depending on the traffic. Our workshop is where all the cutting and welding happens. You can hear the sound of grinders from down the street. It is a hot and loud environment, especially during the summer months, but we have some fans to keep the air moving. We work with a lot of heavy metal sections, so the floor is reinforced concrete. There are stacks of finished frames and raw materials waiting to be used. We mostly focus on fabrication tasks that people bring to us. It is a small crew of guys who know how to handle the torches and the welding machines. We usually have a lunch break together under the shade outside if it is not too dusty. The B N Reddy Nagar Colony is a good spot for us because it is quiet enough away from the main road but still easy for trucks to reach us. We do not have a fancy office or a secretary. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. It is honest, physical work and we just take it one job at a time. We like being part of the Cherlapally industrial community.
