Parameshwari Kirana

Our place is called Parameshwari Kirana. We are at Door No 11-3-257/20/5 on the Main Road in Parsigutta, Hyderabad. The shop is quite close to Vignan Public School. Because of the school, we get a lot of kids and parents coming by in the mornings and then again in the afternoon when classes finish. It makes the day go by in blocks of time. The rest of the day is usually quieter. Parsigutta is a busy residential area, so we see the same faces almost every day. The shop is filled with bags of rice, dals, and all the small things people need for their kitchens. We don't have a lot of fancy lighting, just some tube lights that flicker sometimes. It is a plain shop with wooden shelves that have been there forever. I often have to climb a small ladder to reach the items on the top. The Main Road outside is narrow and can get jammed with cars quite easily. We keep the store open late most nights because that is when people realize they forgot to buy something for dinner. It is a simple life running a kirana store. We just focus on keeping the bins full and the floor swept. The address is easy to find if you are looking for the school nearby. It is just a normal neighborhood shop for normal people.
