Our spot is in Balaji Market on Distillery Road, units 5-2-202 to 205. Panchratna Metal Processing Ltd. is what we call ourselves. Ranigunj is a busy place, and we fit right in with the rest of the trades around here. We process metal, which usually means it's noisy and there's a lot of movement. The shop floor is where most of the action happens. We have various machines for cutting and shaping. The office is just a small part of the building where we keep the books and take orders. It’s pretty dusty most of the time. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls or a receptionist. If someone walks in, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see what they need. We deal with a lot of local scrap and new metal too. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the equipment. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole day fixing it ourselves. We aren't some big corporate entity. We’re just a local business trying to keep things moving. We’ve known most of our customers for years. It’s just normal work. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of the orders. The guys usually bring their own lunch and eat together near the back entrance where it's a bit quieter.
