Bright Steel India is tucked away in Pan Bazar on MG Road. If you’ve ever been to Pan Bazar, you know how crowded and lively it is. Our shop is at No. 2-2-53/1, specifically shop number 4 on the ground floor. It’s right opposite Mitta Chambers, so that’s a good landmark to look for. We deal with steel, which means things can get a bit heavy and dirty. The shop floor is usually covered in some dust, and there’s always the smell of metal in the air. We keep all kinds of steel items stacked up, and sometimes it feels like a bit of a maze in here. Customers come in looking for specific sizes or types of steel, and we spend our time measuring and moving things around. It’s physical work and it keeps us on our toes. The MG Road traffic is a constant backdrop to our day. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a shop with solid walls and a lot of inventory. We’ve been in this location for quite some time, so the other shopkeepers in Pan Bazar are like old friends. We share tea and complain about the heat or the rain together. It’s a basic, honest business where we provide what the local builders and workers need. There’s nothing polished about it, just hard work and metal.
