Osmania Medical Book House

Working at Osmania Medical Book House means you see a lot of the same faces every day. We are located at Plot No 30 on the ground floor of the Pushpanjali Complex. It is a pretty straightforward spot, right across from where the Osmania Medical College Book House is. People sometimes get the two confused, but we just point them in the right direction if they are in the wrong place. The ground floor stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice when you are moving boxes around. There are always books piled up somewhere because there is never enough shelf space for everything. The Pushpanjali Complex is usually buzzing with people going back and forth. Since we are so close to the medical college, we see students all the time. They come in looking for something specific, and we do our best to find it in the stacks. It is a lot of standing and reaching for high shelves. The days go by pretty fast when it is busy. We don't really do much else besides manage the inventory and talk to the people who walk through the door. The area is quite central, so there is always something happening outside on the street. It is just a regular book shop, nothing more and nothing less. We have been at this location long enough that the walls feel familiar. It is an honest living, and we just keep at it day after day without any fuss.
