Osmania Hospital

Osmania Hospital is right in the heart of Afzalganj. It’s a landmark around here, mostly because of how long it’s been standing in Afzalganj. If you ask anyone in the area for directions, they can point you straight to us. The building has seen better days, but it’s still standing strong and keeping busy. We get people coming in from all over the city and even from the outskirts. It’s a noisy part of town, always lots of rickshaws and people moving about outside the gates. Inside, it’s just as hectic. We have doctors and nurses running around constantly. We don't really have time for fancy decorations or polished speeches. Our days are filled with checking charts, talking to families, and managing the wards. It’s a public space, so it belongs to the people. Sometimes the wait times are long, and the benches are hard, but we try to see everyone who needs help. We handle the basic stuff and the more complicated emergencies that come in at night. The staff here works hard, often doing long shifts without much break. It’s just the nature of the job in a place like this. We’re part of the local history of Afzalganj, and we just keep going day after day, helping whoever shows up at the door. It is a big operation, but we try to keep things organized as best as we can given how many people show up every single day.
