Rekha General Stores

Rekha General Stores is our little shop located at Door No. 8-3-217/24. We are sitting right opposite the ICICI Bank in Srinivas Colony West, which is part of Ameerpet. Ameerpet is always a bit chaotic with all the students and shoppers running around, but our colony is a little tucked away from the main madness. We sell all sorts of everyday things that people might need in a hurry. It’s just a basic general store where we keep the shelves stocked with what people ask for most. My family and I are usually here from early morning until late at night. We’ve seen the bank across the street change its signs and staff many times, while we just stay the same. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things high up on the shelves to make everything fit. Sometimes people come in just to chat for a minute while they wait for their bus or finish their banking. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright neon lights. It’s just a regular store for the people living in Srinivas Colony West. The floor is a bit worn down from all the walking, but it shows we’ve had plenty of visitors over the years. We try to keep things organized, even if it looks a bit crowded sometimes. It’s just us doing our thing in Ameerpet, day in and day out, and we are happy with that.
