Omkar Steel Palace

Omkar Steel Palace is located at Shop Number 9 on Plot Number 5. We are in the Mallikarjun Nagar area of Chintal. It’s a local neighborhood shop, nothing too big or intimidating. We mostly have steel items for houses and kitchens, so the shelves are always shiny and full of different containers and tools. Chintal is a nice place to be, and Mallikarjun Nagar feels like a community where everyone knows each other. Our shop isn’t very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the steel racks. Sometimes we have things sitting out on the sidewalk if we are cleaning inside. We don't have a team of people, just a couple of us who manage everything from opening the lock to closing up at night. The sound of metal tapping against metal is what you hear all day here. We spend time helping people find a specific size or type of steel piece. We’ve had the same counter for years, and it’s got a few scratches, but it works fine. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If we have it, we show it. If we don't, we tell them. That’s just how we do things in Chintal. The weather gets hot, but the steel stays cool to the touch. It’s a steady kind of work. We’ve been part of this street for a while and plan to stay here for many more years.
