Omaa Bhagyalaxmi Kirana & General Store

Omaa Bhagyalaxmi Kirana & General Store is located at Lig 153 in the Huda Colony part of Attapur, Hyderabad. We are right near the 3Gundu Hanuman Temple, which is a very well-known landmark for everyone living in this area. Being close to the temple means we see a lot of people on their way to offer prayers, especially on the busy festival days. Our shop is a typical local kirana store where we stock all the items you would need for a traditional kitchen. We have bags of grains and spices and all the little things that run out during the week. Hyderabad can be very warm, so the shop is usually kept open to let whatever breeze there is come through. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors who stop by for their daily supplies. It feels more like a small community gathering spot than just a place of business. We do not have any fancy computer systems, just a simple way of doing things that has worked for us for a long time. The shelves are often crowded because we try to keep a wide variety of goods in a small space. Sometimes we might be a bit slow if we are busy unloading a new shipment of oil or rice, but we get there in the end. It is a quiet life in Huda Colony and we are happy to be the place where people come for their groceries.
