Olive Hospital

Our hospital sits at 12-2-718/3-5 at the Nanalnagar X road in Mehdipatnam. If you live around here, you know the traffic at the crossroads can be quite something. We are right in the thick of it. The building itself has been part of this street for a while. We have people coming in at all hours, which keeps the staff on their toes. It’s a lot of standing and walking for the nurses. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. The waiting room has the usual assortment of plastic chairs and a water cooler that occasionally makes a glugging sound. We see people for all sorts of reasons, from minor things to more serious issues that require staying for a few nights. The shifts are long, and the coffee in the breakroom isn't great, but it gets us through. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, though that’s easier said than done when the clinic gets full. We recognize many of the faces from the local shops and houses nearby. It feels like a neighborhood spot even though it’s a hospital. There is always a pile of charts to go through and phones ringing at the desk. We just take it one patient at a time and try to stay organized. It’s a busy life here at Olive Hospital, but it’s what we know. We are just here doing our jobs every day.
