Oakridge International School

Being on Nanakramguda Road in Cyberabad means we’re surrounded by all these tall tech buildings and busy offices. It’s a very modern part of town, but inside the school gates, it feels a bit more normal and relaxed. We have a lot of students who come from families working in those nearby glass buildings. The mornings are always a bit of a rush with the traffic on the main road outside. Once everyone is inside, it finally settles down a bit. We have big windows that look out over the area, but we usually have the blinds down to keep the glare off the whiteboards. The teachers' lounge is where most of the real talk happens over a quick cup of tea. We’re often complaining about the morning commute or talking about what we're going to have for dinner. It’s a large campus, so we get our steps in just going from one side to the other for classes. We don't have a fancy PR department writing our stuff for us. We’re just the people who show up every day to do the teaching. The hallways are always full of life, and sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the noise of hundreds of kids. But that’s a school for you. We have some good outdoor spaces, though they get quite hot in the middle of the day. It’s a busy life here in Cyberabad, and we’re just one part of it.
