Niims Hospital

Hyderabad is a big city and things move fast here, but at Niims Hospital, we just try to keep up with the daily flow of folks coming through the doors. It's located right in the middle of everything, so the traffic outside is always a bit of a mess. You can hear the horns honking from the street most of the time throughout the afternoon. Inside, it’s just the usual hospital smells and people sitting in those blue plastic chairs. We don't have any polished marketing team writing stuff for us, so this is just how it is. We deal with all sorts of people every single day from all over the city. Some are in a big hurry, others are just tired and want to sit down. The floors get mopped constantly, but with so many boots and sandals walking through, it’s hard to keep them shiny for more than ten minutes. We’ve got our routine down pretty well after all this time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The building is just a building, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it stays standing. We have our coffee breaks when we can get them, usually in the little back room. Sometimes the equipment acts up, and we have to wait for the technician to come across town to fix it. It's just a regular life in a Hyderabad hospital. No one is trying to be a hero; we’re just showing up and doing the work. The fans on the ceiling hum all day long.
