New Siddhartha College Of Distance Education is based over in Borabanda, Hyderabad. We’re not a traditional college where you see students sitting in classrooms all day long. Instead, we’re the place people come to when they need to finish their degrees but have to work or take care of things at home. Our office is usually full of stacks of books and application forms. People drop by to pick up their study materials or to ask questions about the exams. It’s a very functional environment. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or helping people fill out paperwork correctly. Borabanda is a crowded area, so there’s always noise coming in from the street while we work. We’ve been helping people with distance learning for a while now, and we’ve seen all sorts of people come through our doors. Some are young and just starting out, while others are older and trying to get a better job. We don’t have a big campus or sports teams. It’s just a small office dedicated to making sure people can get their education on their own time. We keep things simple and try to be as helpful as we can with the administrative side of things. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work that helps the local community move forward without requiring everyone to be in a classroom every day.
