New Mehta Electronics

If you walk down Gujarati Gali in the Jainmarket area of Koti, you’ll find us at Shop No. 10. New Mehta Electronics is just a regular shop, nothing like those big malls you see in the city center. We’ve got shelves stacked with all sorts of things, from small radios to bigger appliances that take up way too much space on the floor. It gets pretty crowded in here, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have boxes sitting everywhere. There’s always noise coming from the street outside because Jainmarket is a busy place with people shouting and vehicles honking all day long. We don’t have fancy lighting or air conditioning that works all the time, so it can get a bit warm in the afternoons. Me and the guys just sit on the stools and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes people just come in to ask for directions or to see what’s new, and that’s fine with us. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, so we know the other shopkeepers around here pretty well. It’s a living, you know? We just try to keep the stock moving and make sure people get what they need for their homes. Nothing fancy, just a local electronics shop doing its thing every day from morning until we pull the shutters down at night. We don't worry much about being polished.
