You can find us at 10-3-311/A, Kanij Bhavan, which is located in the Castle Hills area of Masab Tank. National Mineral Development Corporation Ltd. is quite a mouthful, but we just go by the name on the door at Kanij Bhavan. Being in Masab Tank means we are in a fairly central spot. Castle Hills is a nice enough area, and the building itself is where all the administrative stuff happens for the minerals we deal with. It’s an office environment, so there are a lot of desks, files, and people on phones all day. We don't actually dig anything up here in the middle of the city; this is where the planning and the paperwork get sorted out. The building, Kanij Bhavan, has its own character and has been around for some time now. We have a lot of departments and people working on different things related to the minerals. It can be a bit more formal inside compared to a small shop, but we try to keep it down to earth as much as possible. The traffic around Masab Tank can be a nightmare during rush hour, so most of us try to get in early or stay late to avoid the worst of it. It’s a busy place with a lot of moving parts. We just focus on getting the reports done and keeping the operations running from this side. It’s steady work and we are just a part of the bigger picture.
