Nataraj Handicrafts

Nataraj Handicrafts is over at Office No. 20-3-625 on Hussaini Alam Road. We are in the Chekapura, Kasarelta area of the city. Our office is more like a workshop and storage space than a formal business suite. You’ll find piles of wood, fabrics, and finished handicrafts sitting on every available surface. It smells like sawdust and old materials in here, which is something we’ve just gotten used to. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows; it’s more of a place where the work actually happens. Hussaini Alam Road is a very traditional part of town, and we feel like we fit right in. We’ve been making and selling handicrafts from this location for quite some time. The people working here are mostly locals who have been doing this kind of work for years. We don't have a social media manager or anyone to take professional photos of our products. We just show the items to whoever stops by. Some days it’s quiet and we just work on our crafts, and other days it’s a bit chaotic with deliveries. It’s not a fancy business, but it’s ours. We don't try to compete with the big malls or the online stores. We just stay here in Chekapura and keep making things the way we know how. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and we’re happy with that. If the lights flicker once in a while, we just ignore it and keep going.
