Naseer Kirana & General Store

Naseer Kirana & General Store is over in Bolokpur, Musheerabad, specifically at 1-4-308/7. We are very close to the Bangladesh Cloth Market, so the whole area is always bustling with shoppers and rickshaws. It gets very loud outside with all the people haggling for clothes, but inside the shop, it’s a bit more focused on the groceries. We have been here for quite some time, and the shop has seen a lot of history in this part of Hyderabad. I usually spend my time sitting behind the counter, handing out packets of biscuits or measuring out dal for the customers. The shelves are a bit old and sometimes they creak under the weight of the heavy jars. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to stack things all the way up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a struggle to reach the top items sometimes. We get a lot of foot traffic from people who are visiting the market and realize they need some household stuff too. I don't really have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy place, but it feels like home to us. We just keep our heads down and do the work of keeping the neighborhood supplied with their daily essentials.
