My Mart

We spend our days here at 3-5-78, Street No 8 in Himayat Nagar. It is a normal place, nothing too special about the building itself, but it’s where we are. The street gets quite busy in the mornings when everyone is heading out. We usually spend the first hour just tidying up things that got moved around the day before. The shelves stay pretty full, and we try to keep the dust off them, though it's a bit of a losing battle with the door open all the time. Himayat Nagar has a lot of energy, and being on Street No 8 means we see a lot of familiar faces. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic go by when it’s quiet inside. My Mart isn't a huge place, just a regular shop where we do our thing. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. The floor is a bit worn near the entrance from all the walking, and the ceiling fan makes a little clicking noise if we put it on the highest setting. It’s just the way things are here. We don't really have a big story to tell, we just open up, do the work, and close when it gets dark. It’s a living, and we’re glad to be part of the neighborhood. That's about it, really. Just keeping the doors open.
