Muthyalu Raju

If you stand outside Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad and look across the street, you’ll see us at D. No 6-3-6. This is New Bhoiguda, and the business name is Muthyalu Raju. We are right in the Idh Colony area. It’s always busy outside our door. There are ambulances and people constantly moving back and forth. It can be quite loud with the traffic and the sirens. We’ve been at this location for many years. Our building is an old one, with thick walls that help a bit with the noise. Inside, it’s mostly just us doing our daily tasks. We deal with a lot of different people every day because of the hospital across the street. Some are in a hurry, others are just waiting around. We try to keep things simple and just handle the work as it comes. It’s a practical sort of life. We don't have any flashy displays or big posters. Just a small sign with the name. The colony itself has changed a lot, but we’ve stayed in the same spot. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the street lights come on. The morning starts early again with the hospital crowd. It’s a unique place to have a business, right in the middle of all that activity. We know the tea sellers and the other shop owners nearby quite well. It feels like a little community in the middle of the city. We just keep going.
