Moreschi Asia Doors P Ltd.

Our shed is out in Ida Bollaram, not too far from Miyapur. It’s Plot 6, Shed 2 to be exact. It’s a big open space where we work on doors all day long. There is always the sound of welding and grinding going on. It can get quite noisy, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other. The trucks come in to load up the finished doors, and that takes up a lot of the morning. It’s a dusty place because of all the materials, but we try to sweep up at the end of every shift. We don’t have fancy air conditioning in the workshop, just the big doors open to let the breeze in. It’s hard work, and your hands get dirty pretty fast. Most of the guys live nearby, so they walk or ride their bikes in. We have a small area partitioned off for the office stuff, but most of the action happens on the floor. It’s a basic industrial setup, nothing special to look at, but it gets the job done. We focus on making things solid and making sure the measurements are right before anything leaves. The days are long, especially when we have a big shipment going out to a customer. We take a lunch break together and then get right back to the noise and the metalwork.
