Prashanth Upvc Windows & Doors

Our shop, Prashanth Upvc Windows & Doors, is situated at 4/7/21A in Sabarmathi Nagar, right across from the Pochamma Temple in the Gandhi Nagar area. Being opposite the temple means we hear the bells and see the crowds during festivals, which keeps things interesting around here. We spend most of our time working on window frames and door sections. It’s a hands-on job, so there is usually a bit of noise from the tools and pieces of UPVC being moved around. The workshop isn't a showroom with bright lights; it’s a real place where things get built. We have samples of the frames leaning against the walls so people can see what they are getting. We started this business because we saw a need for it in the local neighborhood. It’s mostly just a few of us cutting and assembling things to order. We don't use any fancy sales talk when people walk in. We just show them the materials and tell them how long it will take to finish the job. The floors are often covered in small scraps of plastic by the end of the day, but we sweep up before heading out. It’s a straightforward trade and we enjoy being part of the Gandhi Nagar community. People often use the temple as a landmark to find us. We keep the doors open so the breeze can come through while we are working on the next set of windows. It’s a good way to spend the day.
