Choutuppal is a busy enough place as it is, but our college adds a bit more life to it during the weekdays. Being out here in Nalgonda, we get a lot of students coming in from the nearby villages. The building itself is pretty straightforward, with classrooms that get quite warm in the summer months. We have these long hallways where students stand around talking between their classes, and you can always hear the sound of someone scraping a chair across the floor. It’s not a fancy place, just a bunch of rooms with blackboards and desks where people sit to get their work done. The office is usually cluttered with papers because there’s always some form that needs filling out or a fee that needs sorting. In the afternoons, when the sun is really beating down on the roof, things slow down a little bit. We have a few trees in the courtyard where people sit to eat their lunch if it’s not too hot. Most of the staff has been around for years, and we all know each other's tea preferences by now. The commute here can be a bit dusty depending on the road work, but once you're inside, it’s just the usual routine of lectures and exams. It’s a plain, hardworking kind of place. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just what we need to get through the semester without too much fuss.
