Massarath Foundation

Massarath Foundation is right in the heart of things in Jagammet, near Charminar. Our address is 18-2-111/1, and it is a very lively place to be. You can hear the sounds of the markets and the people all day long. We like being in this part of Hyderabad because it has so much history and so many people. The office isn't anything special to look at. It's just a few rooms where we keep our files and sit at our desks. It can get pretty crowded inside when we have visitors, but we always find a place for everyone to sit. We don't go in for fancy decor or expensive furniture. We'd rather spend our time and resources on the actual work we do in the community. The streets around here are narrow and busy, so we usually walk or take a rickshaw. We’ve known the people in this neighborhood for a long time. It feels like we are part of the family here. We don't use corporate language or have long meetings about strategy. We just look at what needs to be done today and we try to do it. Some days are harder than others, especially when it’s hot and the power flickers, but we just keep going. It’s a very grounded way of working. We are just local people trying to make a small difference.
