Working out of Shop No. 1 and 2 in Afzal Nagar Colony is quite a busy life. Malakpet is a crowded area, so there is always something happening right outside our door. We ended up taking both shops because we needed the extra space for all the things we keep in stock. It is a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves. We have been at 16-11-16/A/83 for some years now and the regulars know exactly where to find us. Usually, one of us is sitting near the entrance while the others are in the back sorting through the new arrivals. The colony is a good place to be, even if parking is a nightmare for anyone coming to visit us. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who drop in to ask questions about what we have. It isn't a high-end showroom or anything, just a practical space where we get our work done. Sometimes the fans make a lot of noise but we don't really notice it anymore. We have a routine that works for us, starting early and closing up once the sun goes down. Most of our day is spent checking lists and making sure the inventory matches what we have on the floor. It is just a local business run by people who live nearby. We do not do anything too complicated. Marquis Group is just our name on the board outside.
