Mana Vuri Soda

Mana Vuri Soda is located near the KPHB Colony in Kukatpally. It’s a very busy part of town with a lot of students from the hostels and workers always moving around the colony. We set up shop here because we knew people would want a cold soda while they wait for their commute or walk between the different office buildings. Our space isn't huge at all, but we have enough room for the carbonation machines and the stacks of crates. Most of our day is spent at the front counter or in the small back room dealing with the empty bottles that come back. We get a lot of foot traffic, especially during the afternoon hours when the sun is really beating down on the Kukatpally streets. We don't have any corporate backing or a big team of supervisors. It’s just us and our machines. We focus on keeping the soda cold and the price where people can afford it. Sometimes the machines act up or the CO2 runs low, and we have to fix it right there on the floor. That’s just how it goes when you run a small local business like this one. We keep the place looking simple, with no fancy decorations or things we don't need. People come in, get their drink, and head back out into the noise. We like being part of the community here near KPHB. It’s a good neighborhood to work in and keep things moving every day.
