This hospital is tucked into Suraram. Malla Reddy Narayana Hospital is one of those places that everyone in the area has been to at least once. It’s a large building, and honestly, it can be a little confusing to find your way around the first time you walk in. We try to help people find the right department, but it’s a lot of hallways. The staff stays busy, especially in the mornings when the queues start forming at the registration counter. We have a lot of different sections for all sorts of health issues. It’s a practical place, focused on getting the job done. The air conditioning in the lobby is usually cranking, which is nice when it’s hot outside in Suraram. We see a lot of families coming in together. It’s just part of the local life here. The doctors are always moving from one room to another, and the nurses are usually carrying clipboards or medicine trays. It’s a bit of a maze, but you get used to it after a few visits. We don’t go in for anything fancy or over-the-top. We just keep the floors swept and the doors open for whoever needs us. Sometimes the wait times are longer than we’d like, but that’s just the reality of a busy hospital in this part of town. We’re just here doing our bit every day. There is a small canteen nearby where the coffee is actually pretty decent. It gets very busy around lunch time.
