Mahveen General Store

Mahveen General Store is located at Shop Number 4 in the Bholakpur area of Musheerabad. We are right beside the Anjuman Complex, which is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Hyderabad. The shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit a lot of different items inside. Most of what we sell are daily necessities that the local families need. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of movement, so there is always someone coming in for a small thing they forgot to buy elsewhere. We spend a lot of time just arranging the jars and packets so they look halfway decent on the shelves. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly dusting everything because of the traffic outside. Musheerabad can get quite crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We don't have a big team, usually just one or two of us behind the counter. My nephew helps me out on the weekends when it gets a bit more hectic. We know most of the people around here since we’ve been at this location for a good while. We don't really have a fancy way of doing things. We just open up, sell what people want, and close up at night. It’s a simple routine and it works for us. We try to keep things honest and just provide the stuff that our neighbors are looking for every day without any extra fuss or noise.
